Series of active chilled beams that provide high efficiency cooling/heating.A series of active chilled beams that provide high efficiency cooling/heating and are specifically designed for the loads of North American commercial buildings. The chilled beams feature up to 25% and 50% reduction in pump and fan horsepower, respectively, versus conventional chilled water loop or rooftop forced air HVAC system methods. These beams feature a 12-slot nozzle that's field-adjustable with two hand-operated levers. The integral flow pattern control can also be angled as much as 45-deg to address room hotspots. The nozzle adjustment provides a unilateral, disproportional, or equal air volume from each side. These beams offer engineers a single-source responsibility system of cooling, dehumidification, and heating.
