In cooling-tower applications, drives reduce fan noise and eliminate fan cycling as well as the need for output-water throttling valves, while maintaining water at design temperatures.

AC adjustable-frequency drives save up to 40 percent of fan-motor energy compared to standard fixed-airflow systems. In cooling-tower applications, drives reduce fan noise and eliminate fan cycling as well as the need for output-water throttling valves, while maintaining water at design temperatures.
