John Fetter, PE, REP, LEED Green Associate; 36Fetter is a senior electrical engineer at Primera Engineers, where he has provided quality electrical designs and superb and responsive service for more than 4 years. Often, as a direct result of his work, Primera has received praise and assignments from repeat clients. While at Primera, he has not only served as lead electrical engineer on several projects for a variety of occupancies but has also acted as project manager on select projects—mostly on a volunteer basis. He has stepped up on several occasions to serve as a main point of contact between Primera and clients. As an avid sports fan, Fetter has found a way to combine his love of sports with his love of helping others. He has volunteered for the Boys & Girls Club of America for several years, particularly supporting the mission of helping create a healthier generation. Fetter has helped organize and coach their sports and recreation programs, namely soccer and basketball, and enjoys the opportunity to not only teach young kids about the actual sports but also help them in developing overall health and wellness. He has volunteered his time and skills for Habitat for Humanity, which helps support and build homes for those who need it most. He’s also helped support the Greater Chicago Food Depository by attending its repack sessions that assist in distributing food to the less fortunate. Fetter stays active in sports and traveling with his family. As a former college basketball player, he continues to have a strong interest in everything sports-related. When he is not watching or participating in sports, he enjoys traveling with his family and spending time with his 3-year-old daughter.
