Jeremy Lebowitz, PE; 31Lebowitz is the vice president of development for the industrial, laboratory, and manufacturing sectors at JENSEN HUGHES. He began his so far 10-year career with the company as an engineering intern with the Boston office in 2008, progressing to consulting engineer and client manager after obtaining his professional engineering license in 2012, to his current role, which he has held for the past 4 years. In his current role as “growth director” for the industrial vertical market, Lebowitz is responsible for professional development, large-account development, and technical delivery of projects. He coordinates and delivers wide-ranging training sessions for internal and external clients on topics ranging from code adoptions to energy-efficient hazardous ventilation design to combustible-dust hazard analysis, both in person and online. Lebowitz oversees development of tools to increase efficiency, consistency, and technical accuracy, such as survey tools for dust-hazard analysis and software for rapid classification and quantity analysis of potentially hazardous materials. He serves in a supporting role to the more than 80 worldwide offices of JENSEN HUGHES, providing technical oversight for deliverables and project execution and assisting in client-relationship development. Lebowitz volunteers his time and expertise at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Westborough, Mass., on the safety and security ministry, advising on fire protection, life safety, and security concerns. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and 4-year-old son. A highlight of their trips is seeking out highly acclaimed local craft beer. He also tries to keep fit by participating in half-marathons across his native New England. Over the summer, he particularly enjoys spending long weekends with his extended family boating and camping at Suncook Lake in Barnstead, N.H.
