Responsiveness, dedication, and a commitment to quality have propelled Byorick's career at Gannett Fleming from college graduate to a supervisor in the company's electrical group. He is recognized by his peers and his community as a leader and trusted advisor because of his honesty, team spirit, and fairness. In his position at the company, Byorick is responsible for designing power and lighting systems for roadways, parking lots, toll plazas, and railroad stations; performing photometric and voltage-drop calculations, protective device coordination studies, load flow assessments, and arc flash evaluations for electrical facilities; conducting circuitry and short-circuit studies for load center designs; and assisting with the design of communications systems, including electronic toll collection systems, intelligent transportation system facilities, and fiber-optic systems. Byorick believes the key to growth is leading by example and establishing a strong project team. His management and technical skills have established him as a trusted advisor for arc flash services. Byorick also gives back to the community by participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse, and events at his local church. He has enjoyed bowling since childhood when his father taught him how to bowl. He bowled on his high school varsity team and participated in numerous leagues with friends and coworkers. He is still searching for the elusive perfect game, and is working on passing his love of the game to his son and daughter.
