Consulting-Specifying Engineer AIA CEU Programs

Webcast Program Format:
Webcasts will be an hour long via the Internet. Attendees will not need to download any software to view the webcast. Attendees will log-on to view the presentation and hear the presentation. Audio will be played via your computer speakers. You will also have the option to hear presenter audio by using a telephone. This feature will be available by clicking a "listen by phone" option on the webcast console. A question and answer period will take place directly after the prepared presentation has concluded. Technical questions can be asked in the "Ask a Question" box on the webcast console.

AIA CEU Accreditation:
Consulting-Specifying Engineer, as a publication of CFE Media, is registered provider 70118100 with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems. Credit earned on completion of programs will be reported to CES Records for AIA members. Certificates of Completion for non-AIA members are available on request. Qualified programs are registered with the AIA/CES for continuing professional education. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by the AIA of any material of construction or any method or manner of handling, using, distributing, or dealing in any material or product. Questions related to specific materials, methods, and services are addressed at the conclusion of webcast presentations.

To Obtain AIA CES Learning Units:

  • During a webcast, go to the “Learning Unit Exam” tab at the top of your screen and click on the exam link
  • Take a 10-question exam for 1 LU (learning unit)
  • Get 8 answers correct to pass
  • Certificate available to download once you pass the exam.

*You must be registered for the Webcast to take the exam and qualify for continuing education credits.

If Attending as a Guest of a Registrant:

  • Access the archive here
  • Complete the registration form
  • View the archive and download slides
  • Take the exam to obtain learning units (LU).

*There are no prerequisites for this program. Anyone is allowed to register and attend.
