April 4 Southland Industries update: Plumbing fixtures, chiller in progress

Southland Industries has completed several more steps at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center located in Fort Hood, Texas.

As of April 4:  

  • Southland Industries is completing rough in on levels 4 and above of the hospital.
  • The West Clinic plumbing fixtures are beginning to be installed. The North Clinic has diffusers going into the ceilings, the South Clinic has drywall being installed on levels 2 and 3.
  • All 3 parking garages are underway.
  • Chillers and air handling units are starting the first week of April for temporary conditioning.
