Security stopgap for Windows XP users

The Edge7200i security appliance from Milton Security Group is designed as a stopgap for companies and customers who have not upgraded from Microsoft Windows XP.

April 10, 2014

Milton Security Group’s Edge7200i security appliance is a special solution for those customers and companies that have not migrated away from Microsoft Windows XP.

The Edge7200i provides identity-based access to the network. The Edge can report on what systems are still running XP as well as control the types of traffic coming to and from those XP machines. This gives the Edge the ability to stop possible threats from ever even touching that XP machine. The Edge7200i is designed to be a stopgap for companies that are looking to upgrade from XP and are looking for a temporary solution since Microsoft has officially ended support for the OS and will not be providing upgrades or security patches going forward.
