HOK hires director of engineering services

Nancy Hamilton joins the Chicago-based firm as the firm's leader in MEP and structural engineering.

Nancy Hamilton, SE, PE, has joined HOK, a global design firm, as director of engineering services. Based in Chicago, she leads HOK’s firm-wide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) and structural engineering group. She comes to HOK after 24 years with Arup

“Engineering services are a very important part of what we offer our clients,” said HOK President Bill Hellmuth, AIA. “Nancy’s arrival allows us to continue expanding our engineering practice in order to deliver the maximum benefit to our clients with buildings that exhibit design excellence.”

Hamilton specializes in in creating high-performance, integrated building engineering design solutions. She has been the building engineering leader and lead structural engineer on dozens of complex, high-profile projects, including aviation and transportation facilities, office towers, healthcare buildings, laboratories, museums, stadiums and schools.
