2016 40 Under 40 Winners

The 2016 40 Under 40 winners have many attributes in common, including their passion and enthusiasm and exceptional drive.

Exceptional. Dedicated. Driven. These are a few of the words used to describe the 2016 Consulting-Specifying Engineer 40 Under 40 winners. Now in its ninth year, the program honors young building and engineering professionals, each of whom was nominated by a mentor. Though their backgrounds are as diverse as their jobs, these men and women have plenty in common. In addition to being winners, they are linked by their dedication to their profession, a penchant for leadership, the drive to make a difference in their industries and communities, and determination to excel in everything they do. Many are involved in mentoring students and professional colleagues, while also giving back to their community. When they’re not creating award-winning building designs or spending time with family, this year’s winners enjoy cooking, making music, taking part in various athletic pursuits, traveling, and making the world a better place.
