Mr. Gelfo has more than 18 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering. Mr. Gelfo has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, and specializes in hospital and health care facility design. Since joining TLC in 1993, Mr. Gelfo became a Principal in 1999, was promoted to Division Director of TLC’s Jacksonville Office in 2002 and in 2007 was appointed to TLC’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Gelfo is versed in all aspects of electrical engineering design including emergency power generation, power distribution, short circuit calculation, over-current device coordination studies, lightning protection, fire alarm, nurse call, communication systems, as well as surveys of existing facilities for code compliance. He is a registered professional engineer in several states, a LEED Accredited Professional for Building Design + Construction and Operations + Maintenance, and an ACG Certified Commissioning Authority.
Mr. Gelfo also serves on the Board of Directors of the USGBC North Florida Chapter and the AABC Commissioning Group.
