Compact, low carbon dual pump for uninterrupted service

Armstrong has introduced new, larger sizes of the Design Envelope Tango, a compact, low-carbon dual pump that ensures uninterrupted service, even during maintenance.  The Design Envelope Tango includes two motors and two impeller assemblies in a single casing. Integrated valves can isolate one side of the pump for service, without interrupting flow or affecting occupant comfort.  New sizes are now available with motors ranging from 15 to 40 horsepower and are capable of serving applications up to 2000 GPM or 160 feet of pressure. Design Envelope Tango is a compact solution that reduces installation costs.

Design envelope permanent magnet pumps

Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced an expanded range of design envelope permanent magnet pumps that are engineered to deliver 35-65% reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional integrated pumps with induction motors. Available in mid-February with motors up to 60hp, these design envelope permanent magnet pumps operate at NEMA ultra-premium efficiency levels that exceed the targets set by the US Department of Energy and the NRCan Office of Energy Efficiency.

Pressurizing Pump

Armstrong Fluid Technology has unveiled a new high performance Pressurizing Pump for the Latin American residential market that is designed to increase hydraulic pressure in homes that have dishwashers, high-flow showerheads, water heaters and other high-demand equipment. Featuring low power consumption and a flow sensor that allows automatic activation, the new Armstrong Pressurizing Pump can supply a home with 1 to 5 bathrooms. It can be installed at the outlet of a water tank or before any supply or derivation to service. Adaptable to both cold and hot water up to 90°C, the new pump is ideal for instantaneous heaters. It can also be used for ventilation, heating and air conditioning circulation. The pump activates automatically when a tap is opened and turns off when the tap is closed.
