This week Morrissey Goodale reported one deal in the United States and three international deals involving companies from Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany.
Gemini Corporation (Calgary, Canada) announced that it has entered into a letter of intent to acquire Muskey Environmental Consulting (Fort St. John, Canada), an environmental consulting firm servicing oil and gas clients in northeast British Columbia. Link to details
Mechanical and electrical engineering firm, Hurleypalmerflatt (London, UK) acquired a majority share in specialist commissioning, design, and diagnostic consultancy Andrew Reid & Partners (AR&P) (London, UK). AR&P will retain its current name and will be a subsidiary of Hurleypalmerflatt Group. Link to details
Tractebel Engineering (Brussels, Belgium) announced the purchase of Lahmeyer (Bad Vilbel, Germany), a leading consultancy engineering company specializing in energy and water infrastructure. Tractebel Engineering is a business unit of GDF SUEZ Energy Services. Link to details
EMG (Hunt Valley, MD) and Quality Project Management (Tempe, AZ), two national, privately-owned companies that provide a broad range of services to real estate owners, retailers, commercial lenders, institutional owners and government entities, have merged to become the largest technical assessment and project management company in the United States.
