Intertek (London, UK) acquired MT Group (Farmingdale, NY), a materials testing and specialty construction inspection firm. The acquisition further expands Intertek’s portfolio of services in its Building & Construction line to support the building commissioning and building sciences markets, and extends its fenestration testing reach into the New York City metro area. Hospitality design firm, Monogram (Phoenix, AZ) merged with BBGM (Washington, DC), an architecture and interior design firm. The merged entity will be called MONOGRAM at BBGM and will represent the first time BBGM has expanded its operations to the Western U.S. Link to details

Architectural Innovations (Pittsburgh, PA) merged with Paul Slowik & Associates (Pittsburgh, PA), a design firm for the healthcare, retail, and commercial industries. Architectural Innovations designs school, government, and public buildings. Link to details

Engineering and environmental firm, Fehr Graham (Freeport, IL) acquired landscape architecture and planning firm, Thomas Graceffa and Associates (Rockford, IL). With the acquisition, Fehr Graham’s Rockford branch has grown to 25 staff members. Link to details

Ellis & Associates (E&A) (Jacksonville, FL) merged with Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) (Chantilly, VA) (ENR #86) and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Engineering Consulting Services and a member of the ECS Group of Companies. E&A specializes in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, environmental engineering, construction engineering and inspection, and special inspection services. Link to details
