Multi-national design and engineering consultancy Hyder Consulting (London, UK) acquired nuclear safety consulting firm SR³C (Warrington, UK). SR³C specializes in nuclear safety case development, radiological support, human factors analysis, design substantiation and environmental support. Link to details

ION Geophysical (Houston, TX), a provider of seismic consulting services to the oil & gas industry, entered into an agreement to increase its ownership of OceanGeo (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) to 100%. ION had acquired 30% of OceanGeo in February 2013 and increased its ownership to 70% in January 2014. Ocean Geo provides ocean bottom seismic data acquisition services to the oil & gas industry.
