The private equity investment arm of Canadian pension fund, OMERS (Toronto, Canada) and The Alberta Investment Management Corporation (Edmonton, Canada) bought a majority stake in Environmental Resources Management (ERM) (London, UK), a leading global provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, and social consulting services, from Charterhouse Capital Partners (London, UK). Charterhouse bought a 55% stake in ERM in 2011. Link to details

Nationally recognized leader in geotechnical, environmental, and construction engineering services, G2 Consulting Group (Troy, MI) acquired Schleede-Hampton Associates (Birmingham, MI), a firm that provides similar geotechnical engineering services to the construction industry. Link to details

Architecture, interior design, and master planning firm, Aukett Swanke Group PLC (London, UK) purchased an 80% stake in John R Harris & Partners (Dubai, UAE), an architecture, interior design, and engineering company. Link to details

Willbros Group (Houston, TX) closed the sale of its Downstream Engineering services, based in Baton Rouge, LA, and its Heater Engineering Services, based in Tulsa, OK, to Bernhard Capital Partners (Baton Rouge, LA).
