Weekly merger, acquisition, deal update: January 16
This week Morrissey Goodale reported four deals in the United States and two international deals involving companies from France, China, and Canada.
ENR’s #94 ranked environmental firm, Trinity Consultants (Dallas, TX) joined forces with Smith Aldridge (Atlanta, GA), an environmental consulting firm. Trinity is an international environmental consulting firm specializing in industrial air quality issues. Link to details
Bureau Veritas (ENR #34) (Neuilly-sur-Seine, France) acquired a 70% equity stake in Ningbo Hengxin Engineering Testing Company (Ningbo, China), a company specializing in non-destructive inspection and metallurgical testing. Link to details
Engineering, design, and planning firm, Stewart Engineering (Raleigh, NC) has merged with H&G Landscape Architects (Richmond, VA). The merger increases Stewart Engineering’s footprint throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and enhances their landscape architecture and land planning service offerings. Link to details
Transportation, environmental, and site development firm, V3 Companies (Woodridge, IL) acquired Niemeyer & Associates (Ringwood, IL), a full-service railroad engineering firm providing planning, evaluation, design, maintenance, and construction related engineering services. Link to details
AKS Engineering & Forestry (Tualatin, OR) acquired the staff and projects of Peterson Engineering Consultants (Keizer, OR). Both AKS and Peterson provide civil engineering services; however, AKS brings significant additional capabilities, services, and resources to existing Peterson Engineering clients. Link to details
MIG Engineering (Sarnia, Canada) and BKL Engineering (Sarnia, Canada) have announced the two firms will be merging their resources effective March 2, 2015. Both firms provide consulting services to all levels of government and the private sector and specialty services to industry. Link to details
