This week Morrissey Goodale reported four deals in the U.S. and two international deals involving companies from Canada, New Zealand, France, and Mexico.
Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) (Hunt Valley, MD) (ENR #64) acquired RCG Architects (Baltimore, MD), a firm that serves the health sciences, higher education, cultural, and commercial markets. Link to details
PRIME AE Group (Baltimore, MD) (ENR #228) acquired Braun & Steidl (Akron, OH), 25-person architecture firm focused on the hospitality, housing, religious, higher education, K-12, public, corporate, and historic restoration markets. Link to details
Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) (Waltham, MA) (ENR #114) acquired structural engineering firm Keast & Hood’s Washington, DC office (Washington, DC). Link to details
Montrose Environmental Group (Irvine, CA), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Enthalpy Analytical (Durham, NC), acquired First Analytical Laboratories (Durham, NC), which specializes in providing inorganic chemical analyses for environmental and industrial clients. Link to details
Global design firm, Stantec (Edmonton, Canada) (ENR #10), signed a letter of intent to acquire Traffic Design Group (Lower Hutt, New Zealand), a consulting transportation engineering firm. Link to details
ENR’s #37 ranked global design firm, Egis (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France), acquired Operación y Conservación de Autopistas Concesionadas (Mexico City, Mexico), a firm that specializes in the operation of road infrastructure equipped with tolling systems. Link to details
