Industry leader Jacobs (Dallas, TX) (ENR #1) announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire the nuclear business of ENR’s #4 ranked global design firm, John Wood Group (Aberdeen, UK), for approximately $300 million.  Link to details

National employee-owned consulting firm Mead & Hunt (Middleton, WI) (ENR #119) acquired Sabra & Associates (Columbia, MD), a multi-disciplinary consulting firm with a strong emphasis on the transportation sector.  Link to details

Coffman Engineers (Seattle, WA) (ENR #177) announced that ABBOTT Engineering (Cardiff by the Sea, CA) has signed a definitive agreement to join the company. The deal strengthens Coffman’s private sector portfolio and expands its service offerings in California by adding mechanical engineering.  Link to details

V3 Companies (Woodridge, IL) (ENR #426) and SEA Group (Carmel, IN) merged. SEA Group adds surveying to V3’s Indianapolis operation, allowing the firm to provide greater technical expertise and capacity across the Great Lakes Region.  Link to details

Environmental consulting and services firm RSK Group (Helsby, UK) acquired subsidence investigation specialist Geocore Site Investigations (Redcar, UK). The announcement marks the fifth acquisition for RSK Group this financial year.  Link to details
