Weekly merger, acquisition, deal update: April 6
This week Morrissey Goodale reported seven deals in the U.S. and two international deals involving companies from Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.
Global multidisciplinary forensic consulting firm, The LiRo Group (Syosset, NY) (ENR #436), acquired DiGiorgio Associates (Boston, MA), DAI Inc. (Boston, MA), and Monitor Builders (Boston, MA), three companies that focus on the architectural design of health care facilities. Separately, LiRo also recently purchased the assets of Bowne Management Systems (Mineola, NY) and Sidney B. Bowne & Son (Mineola, NY), two engineering consultancies that work in the GIS and IT industries. Link to details
ECS (Chantilly, VA) (ENR #81) acquired GEM Engineering (Louisville, KY), a geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and environmental engineering firm. Link to details
GraceHebert Architects (Baton Rouge, LA) acquired HMS Architects (New Orleans, LA), a firm with a focus on the performing arts, hospitality, education, and industrial markets. The combined firm will have 40 employees. Link to details
COWI (Lyngby, Denmark) (ENR #219) acquired PB Teknik AB (Solna, Sweden), a heating, ventilation, and sanitation consultancy firm. Link to details
ENR’s #28 ranked global design firm, Ramboll Group (Copenhagen, Denmark), acquired MMG (Berlin, Germany), a firm that specializes in the designing of hospital logistics systems and the use of automated guided vehicles in hospitals. Link to details
