Weekly merger, acquisition, deal update: April 27
This week Morrissey Goodale reported four deals in the U.S. and two international deals involving companies from the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
Global design leader, Perkins Eastman (New York, NY) (ENR #71), and Dougherty Architects (Costa Mesa, CA) announced their intent to merge. The merger will build upon the established practices, particularly K-12 and higher education design, of both firms. Link to details
KBR (Houston, TX) (ENR #5) acquired Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SCT) (Greenbelt, MD) and Carillion’s interests in Aspire Defence (Tidworth, UK). Link to details
Architectural lighting design firm, Illumination Arts (Bloomfield, NJ), joined HLB Lighting Design (New York, NY), a design firm focused on architectural lighting for both interior and exterior environments. Link to details
Landscape architecture firm, John Tarkany Associates (Charleston, SC), merged with SGA Architecture (Pawleys Island, SC), an architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and planning firm. Link to details
