Abstract: After months of effort, Rivion assisted Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) with achieving the ENERGY STAR certification, becoming the largest office building ever to do so. Building on this, they guided the property through simultaneous LEED Gold certifications in October 2018. The challenges faced by the property throughout these processes, and the strategies used to overcome them to make the “impossible” possible, will be discussed.
