Variable frequency drives class and lecture
The Energy Center of Wisconsin is holding a class on VFDs on Jan. 25 at Naperville, Ill.
Variable Frequency Drives: From Consideration to Operation is being held on Jan. 25, 2012, in Naperville, Ill., at the NIU Outreach Center. The class is a one-day event and begins at 8 a.m. The lecture, supported by the Energy Center of Wisconsin (ECW) is designed to teach and provide and understanding of the issues that arise when using VFD’s in the field. The class also provides a review on the NEMA Drives Application and Installation Guide. A lecture on economic applications will also be provided.
The lecture is being presented by Greg Stark, PE, from Texas A+M University. The cost is $169 and registrations must be made in advance.
