The UCSD system has visionary hopes for the new 245-bed tower that will provide a state-of-the-art healthcare environment for the most innovative, patient-focused care available. Designed as three hospitals in one – a cancer hospital, a hospital for advanced surgery and a hospital for women and infants – the 10-floor medical center creates new opportunities for medical advances.
