Remote connectivity adapter

The U1177A infrared-to-Bluetooth adapter is the core of Agilent Technologies’ wireless connectivity solution that plugs into any the company’s 11 handheld digital multimeters (DMMs). The solution includes a Google Android mobile application for basic monitoring and another for data logging. The monitoring application enables real-time interaction with connected DMMs, which the logging application simplifies data logging and remote monitoring.

Dual-protocol interval data recorders

E-Mon’s Interval Data Recorder is designed for collecting kilowatt-hour and demand data from 8 or 16 connected meters at user-selectable 15-, 30-, or 60-min intervals. A four-line LCD shows real-time data, while onboard memory stores up to 72 days of 15-min interval data accessible via modem, Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks TP, or MV-90 for automatic meter reading, energy management integration, billing, and more. Available in two models, the 8-m (IDR-8) and the 16-m (IDR-16) both offer simultaneous dual-protocol communications for integration with multiple BAS, billing packages, or measurement and verification reporting.

Energy monitoring gateway

The Power Xpert 200E gateway by Eaton collects energy usage data from meters to benchmark energy usage, set energy management goals, and reduce energy costs. The Power Xpert 200E gateway reports on energy usage at the device, building, and campus levels, indicating energy usage trends and developing a baseline to maximize energy efficiency. With the Eaton Digital Input Module, the Power Xpert 200E gateway can also monitor and water, air, gas, electric, and steam meters. No software is required to access energy data, yet the data is importable into other systems.

Wireless testing system

The Fluke CNX Wireless System is a test tool that wirelessly connects multiple measurement modules and sends simultaneous readings to a master device up to 20 m away. The Fluke CNX Wireless System uses a CAT III 1000 V / CAT IV 600 V multimeter with a screen that displays its readings along with live readings from up to three other measurement modules. For more complex troubleshooting, users can view live measurements from up to 10 modules simultaneously on a computer equipped with the CNX PC Adapter. The modules can take live measurements or log up to 65,000 sets of data. Logged data can be saved to a computer in .csv format.

Infrared cameras

The Fluke Ti125 is a light, rugged, and easy-to-use professional thermal imager for industial and commercial applications that performs fast and efficient infrared (IR) inspections. The Ti125 features the exclusive IR-OptiFlex focus system which ensures that images are focused for optimum image clarity and scanning convenience. The IR-Fusion mode accurately identifies potential issues by combining digital and IR images with AutoBlend. The Ti125’s IT-PhotoNotes feature annotation system quickly identifies and keeps track of inspection locations by adding digital images of important information and surrounding areas.

Wireless condition monitoring system

VIBCONNECT RF by Ludeca is a wireless condition monitoring system for machine components. The sensor unit monitors machine vibration, bearing condition, and temperature, and transmits the relevant data to the bridge where it is evaluated. VIBCONNECT RF monitors the condition of roller bearings and other rotating components as well as damage caused by cavitation. The VIBCONNECT bridge acts as the central receiver. It processes the data from the sensor units and transmits it through the operator’s network for visualization and archiving. The system includes a range of comprehensive analytical functions that assess machine vibration, temperature, and bearing condition.
