Specification productivity tool

Arcom’s Altarix is a productivity tool in its SpecWare suite of specification software. Two panels are built into the Altarix specification section editor: SpecAgent and SpecTools. The SpecAgent panel provides a wide variety of resources needed by specifiers with the specification sections they are working on, such as manufacturer contact information, product information, photos, catalogs, data sheets, referenced standards, and links to standards organizations. The SpecTools panel provides features to help improve specification writing, review, and editing efficiency, including question and answer tools, navigation tools that help make finding specification sections easier, and note tools. A status panel bar helps specifiers keep track of the completion progress of specification writing efforts. Specifiers will be able to track the percentage completion of each section, as well as the last date a section was updated and by whom. This information is aggregated to the project level so one can see overall project completion progress.
