Seven days of safety

In February, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) will host SeminarFest 2009, an intensive, weeklong event of more than 50 seminars. The events range from one to three days in length and offer technical, management, and skill development topics for safety, health, and environmental professionals.

SeminarFest will include focuses on leadership, safety management, training, statistical analysis, and incident investigation. Specific seminars will discuss electrical safety, fall protection, and communication with Spanish-speaking workers. Continuing education units and professional certification is available.
