Searching csemag.com

The new csemag.com site provides expanded search capabilities with an industry leading enterprise search technology. The Zibb.com product is a large index that contains content collected by crawling HTML pages via RSS feeds and Google site maps. Special tags are exposed to Zibb to provide better control over content.

Once the user enters a keyword or words in the search box, he or she can expand the search to news content from B2B sites. This is done by selecting the “News” tab over the search box.

The result set will now display articles obtained from Zibb’s crawls of Reed Business Information sites and third party RSS feeds. RSS feeds are included in the news tab because they contain recent content and because the RSS format consistently exposes a date that enables accurate sorting by publication date.

By pressing the “Web” button, the search will be expanded to include all web pages that are crawled by the Zibb tool.
