Johnson Controls’ York Direct Fit rooftop replacement includes a full line of 3- to 8.5-ton packaged heat pumps. The heat pumps feature an exact-fit replacement design that matches the units to footprints of other manufacturers’ units. Simplicity smart equipment (SE) controls come as a standard feature on all direct fit gas/electric, electric/electric, and heat pump packaged and commercial split system configurations. The system’s design also offers an optional mobile access portal gateway that provides access to the SE control system using a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or remote PC. Additional features of the heat pumps include adjustable defrost and three heat capacities, as well as a choice of cooling or electric heat configurations.
