Robert Linder named NEBB president
The National Envrionmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) has elected Robert Linder, a senior project manager for Karges-Faulconbridge, as the organization's president for 2014.
The Board of Directors of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) has named Robert (Bob) Linder, PE, LEED AP, NEBB CP, as 2014 NEBB President during the NEBB Board of Directors Meeting, Oct. 18-19, 2013, held in Monterey Bay, Calif. He succeeds Stan Fleischer, who served as the 2013 NEBB President.
Linder is a Senior Project Manager for Karges-Faulconbridge Inc. in St. Paul, Minn. He has more than 20 years of management and leadership experience in the areas of Whole Building Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning and Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing. Bob has been a NEBB Certified Professional in Testing, Adjusting and Balancing since 2000. He is also a NEBB Certified Professional in Commissioning and Retro-Commissioning. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Linder serves on the NEBB Executive Finance Committee. He is the past Chairman of the NEBB’s Building Systems Commissioning Committee and is a member of NEBB’s Board of Directors. As a member of the NEBB Marketing Committee, he helped launch the NEBBinar series – a webcast series that provides solutions for high performance buildings. He has also served on the North Central NEBB Board as President, President-Elect and Treasurer.
Linder was awarded the ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award in 2013. He has been a member of ASHRAE since 1995 and has served on local, regional and society level committees. Most recently, he was Director and Regional Chair for Region VI. In this role he served on the society Board of Directors and as the Chair of his region’s Chapters’ Regional Committee.

Our board has some very exciting plans for NEBB and our future is brighter than ever.”
