RJA Group Expands Security Capabilities

The RJA Group, an international fire and security consulting firm based in Chicago, recently acquired Sako & Associates, a security, communications and audio-visual consultancy located in Arlington Heights, Ill. Under this new partnership, Sako & Associates will become the fourth subsidiary of The RJA Group, and all of RJA’s security consultants will join Sako.

The acquisition was announced earlier this month at the American Society of Industrial Security trade show in San Antonio, Texas. Sako’s founder, William Sako, was on hand to introduce the new partnership. ‘We’re pleased to join the family of The RJA Group,’ said Sako. ‘With identical business practices, we can now provide clients with integrated services to protect people, property and assets.’

Sako, who will be named a senior vice president with RJA, established his firm in 1974, and has consulted with private and government sector companies from around the world. His firm joins fire consultants Rolf Jensen & Associates, construction management consultants Fire Protection Management and training consultants Protection Knowledge Concepts as subsidiaries of The RJA Group.
