REHAU’s RAUBOARD radiant heating system is designed for above-floor installations. Radiant heating is one of the most energy-efficient types of space conditioning available today because of its exceptional comfort at relatively low operating temperatures. REHAU hydronic radiant heating systems work by circulating warm water through RAUPEX crosslinked polyethylene (PEXa) pipe installed in floors, walls, or ceilings. RAUBOARD is a lightweight plywood panel featuring a low, 1/2-in. profile. Installed between the finished floor and the subfloor or on walls underneath the gypsum board, these low-profile panels expand the applications for radiant to include retrofitting options as well as new construction.
