The equipment Aggreko provided for the inaugural events provided:
* Enough electricity to power 350,000 medium-size homes
* Enough heat for 250,000 medium-size homes
* Nearly enough cable (35 miles) to stretch from Washington, D.C., to Baltimore.

The company sourced equipment from their nationwide network of service centers, starting installation 13 days before the actual inauguration. Crews are scheduled to remove the last piece of Aggreko equipment from the scene by Jan. 25.

Aggreko has provided power and temperature control for the last three inaugurations. In addition, the company provided equipment that powered Obama’s election-night shindig in Chicago’s Grant Park.
