Plenary announced: checking the Cx road map
NCBC will discuss the role of commissioning on the building industry.
PECI Executive Director Phil Welker will kick off the National Conference on
Building Commissioning (NCBC) with an address about the past, present, and future of the commissioning role
in the building industry. With 30 years in the energy efficiency industry,
Welker presents a unique view of where we are in reaching our collective goal
of making commissioning “business as usual.”
He will
touch on what are the effects of adjacent industries and discuss changes in the
utility industry. Welker will also review the progression of engineering and
the labor force, technical evolutions in building systems and automated
platforms, in addition to the smart grid and how this all relates to building
commissioning yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
