Two-compartment recessed floor boxes provide power and communications services in open spaces or directly to a workstation as a furniture feed box. The floor box can be installed in either concrete or wood floors. A lightweight slab-on-grade version features a fusion-bonded epoxy finish that is applied to the standard steel box, which eliminates the need for a costlier cast iron box. Medium-voltage adjustable-speed drives are specifically designed for outdoor mounting in remote locations or where a building does not exist. This drive is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, such as heat and direct sun, by incorporating a unique enclosure design and power section topology. The device is two enclosure types married together. The transformer section is convection cooled. There are no moving parts, and heat is eliminated through passive vents at the top of the drive. The inverter section is forced-air-cooled and only uses non-CFC cooling components. For more about MTX drives from Toshiba, click here .
