The National Electrical Manufacturers Assn. (NEMA), Rosslyn, Va., has published MG 1-2006 Revision 1 2007, “Motors and Generators.”
This edition incorporates previously published information about 50- and 60-Hz NEMA Premium electric motors. It features an entirely revised table of contents; updated referenced standards; full-load efficiencies of 50- and 60-Hz NEMA Premium electric motors; clarifications of terminal markings of polyphase-induction machines; revised illustrations; and equations for temperature rises for air-cooled machines for ambients lower than 40 C, but not below 0 C.
