The National Electrical Manufacturers Assn. (NEMA) has launched a full-service online career center ( www.eicareers.org ) designed exclusively for the electroindustry.

The NEMA career portal allows employers to post open positions and search for potential employees, while job seekers search for open positions, upload resumes, and submit applications to potential employers. The service is free to job seekers; employers pay much less for listing their openings

NEMA President Evan Gaddis said, “eicareers.org is an efficient, convenient, and central source of qualified applicants, the best place for electrical industry career positions available today. By creating a job portal dedicated specifically to the electroindustry, NEMA is creating value for the entire industry.”

The career center features an anonymous resume bank that enables job seekers to list their experience and qualifications in a protected environment. In return, employers have the option to pay only for the candidates, or resumes, that are a good fit for them.

NEMA’s electroindustry career platform offers a number of advanced features, including a “job alert” system that notifies job seekers by e-mail of new opportunities that match their search criteria.
