The valve allows water to be stored at high temperatures, extending water heater capacity. The lead free LFMMV-HTK valve helps minimize the occurrence of Legionella and risk of scalding. By extending hot water capacity, it eliminates the need to replace a hot water tank with a large-capacity unit. The valve is listed to ASSE 1070, ASSE 1017, and IAPMO cUPC and comes complete with integral filters, checks, and union connections and has a lockable temperature adjustment.
