MGS Progetti among the first European manufacturers certified to new lead requirements
NSF Annex G certification of Italian faucet manufacturer supports new requirements for low lead plumbing products to take effect next year.
NSF International has announced that MGS Progetti has become one of the first European faucet manufacturers to
demonstrate compliance with Annex G. Certification to NSF’s Annex G, which
contains requirements for low lead plumbing products, helps protect the public
from exposure to lead.
The new section of NSF/ANSI
Standard 61 – Annex G – Weighted Average Lead Content Evaluation Procedure to a
0.25% Lead Requirement – includes requirements that mandate a maximum weighted
average lead content of≤0.25%. The new requirement applies to manufacturers of
faucets, valves, water fittings, and other products that come in contact with
drinking water.
