John F. Hassett joined Lilker Assocs., New York, in thte position of director of the firm’s Technology Solutions Group. Syska Hennessy Group , New York, expanded its operations in Asia. As part of the expansion, Ing Lim , vice president, will relocate to Shanghai to serve as managing director of China operations. In addition, the firm has named Hie Jae Kim, PE , senior vice president and director of Korean projects. Richard A. Hughes has been named vice president and managing director of the Houston office. Hughes has more than 24 years of professional experience. Smith Seckman Reid , Nashville, hired Kevin Graham as a senior mechanical engineer and project manager for the firm’s Nashville office. Graham will lead the mechanical design efforts for the sports team. In addition, the firm hired Luis Cor tes as senior project manager/senior electrical engineer in the firm’s Dallas office. Cortes roles include the design of lighting systems, emergency power systems, and power distribution. The firm also opened its 12thoffice, in Orlando, Fla., on June 2. Anthony Summers joined KAI Design & Build , St. Louis, as senior project manager. Summer has more than 30 years of industry experience. Kevin L. Downey, AIA , principal-in-charge at BSA LifeStructures , Indianapolis, received certification from the American College of Healthcare Architects. Downey serves as senior vice president with the firm and is responsible for project management and business development. Ann Massey has been named president and CEO of MACTEC Inc ., Alpharetta, Ga. Massey has served the company for 19 years and has been the company’s North Division Manager since 2002.
