Alison Mullins joined James Posey Assocs ., Baltimore, as senior project manager. She brings 21 years of experience in the design of building and campus HVAC systems.
KJWW Engineering Consultants , Rock Island, Ill., announced that Brandon Frazier and Richard Hensley have achieved the ranks of certified technology specialists after completing certification exams conducted by InfoComm International. Frazier is a technology technician in the firm’s Rock Island office. He has been with the company since September 2006. Hensley joined the firm nearly one year ago, and serves as a technology engineer.
William Gossett has been named secretary of the newly formed Northeast Georgia Section of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects . Gossett has more than 35 years of architectural experience, including commercial, educational, healthcare, resort, country club and other types of building design and construction administration. Gossett was the construction project architect for the Arthur M. Blank Family Office, the first LEED certified office building in the Southeast, and the first LEED Gold certified building in Georgia.
Howard R. Green Co., St. Paul, Minn., announced the additions of Mark Stone, P.E., as project engineer and Mike Berg and Brendan Moore, EIT, as staff engineers to its St. Paul/Wastewater Group. Stone has five years of experience in studies, cost estimates, permit applications, detailed plans and specifications and construction administration for water/waterwater treatment, watermain and collection systems. Berg’s experience includes AutoCAD design and project plans for lad development, roadways, storm sewer systemswater/wasterwater mains and wetland mitigation. Moore recently served as a research assistant in the Civil Engineering Dept. at the University of Minnesota.

In addition, Ellen Sisle, AIA , was named director of the firm’s Laboratory Planning Group.
The Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Doge, Iowa, will receive a $100,000 rebate from MidAmerican Energy for the energy-efficient design of the center’s new four-story replacement addition. The addition was designed by engineering and interiors firm Leo A. Daly , and the facility’s mechanical, electrical and lighting systems will save an estimated 16% in energy usage annually.
