M/E Insider: Mergers, Promotions and New Hires

SEi Companies, Boston, and PKP Engineers, Washington, D.C., have announced a merger combining the staff and resources of their respective consulting engineering firms. The combined annual billings of the privately-held SEi Companies are expected to approach $20 Million in 2006.

RTKL Assocs. has added two new health-care principals to its Los Angeles office. David E. Keiser, AIA, ACHA, will serve as a planner and project manager. Jacky W. Yung, AIA, has become lead designer.

Cannon Design, Buffalo, N.Y., has been awarded a Design Award of Honor by the Society of American Registered Architects for its work on ChesterAcademy, ChesterUnionFreeSchool District, Chester, N.Y.

Howard R. Green Company, St. Paul, has appointed Dawn Horner as group leader of the water business unit in their St. Paul office. Horner has previously served as a project manager and chief technical advisor. With almost ten years of experience, she has worked on a variety of projects with clients throughout the Midwest.

Kling, Philadelphia, has announced that engineering design principal Mark Maguire, P.E., was elected to Shareholder status. Congrats Mark!
