Low-voltage motor control center

By Consulting Specifying Engineer Staff December 1, 2008

Square D’s low-voltage motor control center incorporates the manufacturer’s M-, P-, and R-frame 800 A to 2,500 A main circuit breakers, in a design that can minimize space requirements. The CPU-based electronic trip units built into the breakers enable automatic closing and opening of main utility-feed and generator breakers. Additional functionality includes the capability for multiple protective adjustments, power metering and monitoring, and power-quality measurement.
