Challenges

Two Bit Circus transformed an old warehouse into an entertainment venue. All of the building utilities required replacement and upgrades to support the games, equipment and programming.

Solutions

The design team had to coordinate and work with the owner, vendors, consultants and contractors very early in the project. This coordination was necessary so the appropriately sized utilities could be procured before the actual design being completed. The utilities were a critical obstacle as the construction schedule was very accelerated. If a normal design-bid-build process was followed, the utilities would not have been approved and installed within the time frame required.
