Challenges
1. Provide MEP design that can accommodate frequent tenant renovations.
2. Create a desirable atmosphere on the exterior balconies in the hot, humid climate of Florida without using large blade type ceiling fans.
Solutions
1. Designed raised floor system that allows ultimate flexibility on HVAC, electrical,and low-voltage layout with little or no contractor involvement.
2. Designed a way to route building relief air required to maintain proper building pressurization to the balconies,which provides a cooling affect and therefore comfort to occupants gathering on the balcony.
