Industry veteran named LCA president

Bringing more than 25 years of experience, Gary Meshberg has been chosen to lead the Lighting Controls Assn.’s new executive team.

The Lighting Controls Assn. (LCA)–administered by the National Electrical Manufacturers Assn. (NEMA)–has appointed Gary Meshberg as president, tapping him to lead the group’s new executive team.

Currently director of the Lightolier Controls division of Philips Lighting Controls, and Entertainment Technology, Meshberg has worked in the lighting and lighting control industry for more than 25 years. He is a founder and past chair of the Home Lighting Control Alliance and a frequent speaker at industry events.

Other officers include:
* Vice president: A.J. Glaser, president, Ft. Collins, Colo.-based HUNT Dimming
* Secretary/treasurer: Scott Jordan, marketing manager, LaVergne, Tenn., Square D Lighting Control , a division of Schneider Electric , Palatine, Ill.
* Executive director: Ron Runkles, NEMA
* Education director: Craig DiLouie, principal, ZING Communications Inc., New York.
