Schreder Lighting , Chicago, announced that Premier Lighting Sales Agency will represent its complete line in Kansas and western Missouri.
Johnson Controls , Milwaukee, and its subsidiary Versar Inc ., will receive one of 12 large business contracts by the U.S. Air Force for construction and design build services. The contact has an expected $10 billion dollar ceiling for all awardees and companies were charged with supplying facilities and infrastructure support to the Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency under a Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract.

Trane , Piscataway, N.J., applications engineering manager Mick Schwedler will receive the ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award on June 21 in Salt Lake City. Schwedler has been an active member of ASHRAE for more than 20 years and helped update the ASHRAE Energy Standard for Building except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, Standard 90.1. Schwedler served as ASHRAE’s chair of technical committee 1.5 on computer applications and he is a member of the professional development committee.
