Steve Walker has joined Exitronix , Phoenix, in the position of western regional sales manager. Walker brings more than 30 years of sales experience to the company.

Carter Thomas joined Sea Gull Lighting Products , Riverside, N.J., as vice president, product design. Thomas’ career spans nearly 20 years in the design, project management and market research industries.

Cleaver-Brooks Inc ., Milwaukee, announced the production of its 10,000thdeaerator from its Stratford, Ontario location. The 10,000th unit is a Spraymaster model deaerator offered by the product group, C-B Package Boiler. The 10,000th deaerator was on display at a celebration event held at the Cleaver-Brooks’ Stratford plant on May 23. During the event, Mayor Dan Mathieson presented Cleaver-Brooks with a gift from the city commemorating the manufacturer’s 75th anniversary.

Phillips Lighting , Somerset, N.J., won several awards at LightFair 2007: ALTO II low-mercury T8 fluorescent lamp technology received both LightFair’s Best of Category: Conventional Lamps award as well as the show’s Technical Excellence award; LUXEON Rebel line of high power LEDs received the 2007 Technical Excellence award and was the winner of the Best of Category: Specialty Lamps award; and ARC Keeper Arctic 175 HID backup ballast received the2007 award for Most Innovative Product of the Year.
