Norwalk, Ct.-based EMCOR Group Inc. has received a contract for installation of mechanical controls at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. The Havel Bros. div. of its Shambaugh & Son LP subsidiary will install building automation systems at the schools new engineering hall, which will pursue U.S. Green Building Council LEED certification upon completion.

Robert A. Berglund, RA , has been promoted to business unit manager of Aurora, Colo.-based Merrick and Co.’s facilities, science, and technology business unit.

A range of data-center enclosures and airflow management systems from Worcester, Mass.-based Wright Line have been certified compliant with Indoor Air Quality standards of the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute .

Four HVAC technicians have won adventure trips in Trane’s HVAC Parts and Supplies Outdoor Adventure program. The winners are Ryan Asselin of Industrial Building Services , Kingsport, Tenn.; Brad Gamroth of Bassett Mechanical , Madison, Wis.; Steve Kostas of Comfort Air , Grand Junction, Colo.; and Kevin Roy of BG Mechanical Service . Each of the winners received one of four vacation packages, including a raft trip on Utah’s Green River, and a covered-wagon getaway in Jackson Hole, Wy.
