The Government Services unit of EMCOR Group Inc., Norwalk, Ct., has been awarded a contract, effective June 1, to provide facilities services at the Hubert H. Humphrey Building in Washington, D.C.

Syska Hennessy Group, Phoenix, has secured a contract to design the building systems for a high-rise tower addition to the Maricopa County criminal justice complex in Phoenix. The company’s services will include designing mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and vertical transportation for the 17-story building.

Black & Veatch, Kansas City, Mo., recently celebrated the opening of the Butler Water Reclamation Facility—a facility the company designed–in Peoria, Ariz. The largest capital improvement initiative in the city’s history, the $110 million facility incorporates advanced membrane bioreactor technology, which allows the city to reclaim wastewater via aquifer recharge.
